- Database Design: Design and implement database tables, views, indexes, and stored procedures to support business requirements.
- Query Optimization: Optimize SQL queries for better performance and ensure they run efficiently across large datasets.
- Data Integration: Develop and manage ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the database.
- Data Security: Implement and maintain data security measures to protect sensitive information.
- Database Maintenance: Regularly monitor, maintain, and tune databases to ensure their high availability and performance.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve database-related issues, including performance bottlenecks, data integrity problems, and connectivity issues.
- Collaboration: Work closely with software developers, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand and meet their data needs.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for database structures, processes, and procedures.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant degree.
- Proven years of experience as an SQL Developer.
- Excellent understanding of T-SQL programming and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Good knowledge of HTML and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with the practical application of NewSQL databases.
- Critical thinker and a team player.
